Finally! The week of the 2018 ASCRS-ASOA Annual Meeting in Washington, DC is here. Our staff is excited to spend the next few days with attendees, during the excitement of almost peak cherry blossom bloom in Washington, DC.
For the last four years, Matthew Wesson, MD, [Tupelo, MS] has awoken very early on the Sunday morning of ASCRS’ Annual Meeting. Before the sun is up, rain or shine, he laces up his running shoes and heads out to do something good for his health, and for those in need.
Steps for Sight is a new challenge at the 2018 ASCRS-ASOA Annual Meeting. The goal is to encourage attendees to improve their health, have a bit of competitive fun, and raise money for a good cause – ending preventable cataract blindness.
Participants have already begun signing-up and creating their challenge pages.
