NSW: Not Providing Charitable Surgeries? You Can Still Participate!

The ASCRS Foundation is four days out from its 4th Annual National Sight Week initiative, October 20 ¬ 26, where the goal is to complete as many charitable surgeries as possible. Hundreds of surgeries will be performed by generous volunteers across the United States bringing a larger awareness to the work being done by Operation Sight volunteers.

While we understand it may be too late to provide a charitable surgery during this week you can still participate! Here is how you can get involved:

Donate! Give a gift in your name or your practice’s name at ascrsfoundation.org/donation and designate the funds to Operation Sight

• Follow the Foundation's twitter account for the National Sight Week Challenges!

•Request free custom National Sight Week graphics for your practice to share on social media

• Post on social media! Tag us on twitter @ASCRSFoundation  @ASCRStweets @ASOAtweets or the ASCRS and ASOA facebook and use our hashtags #NationalSightWeek #OperationSight

Are you a Facebook user? Add the National Sight Week frame to your profile picture! Go to www.facebook.com/profilepicframes and search National Sight Week. You can even set a time limit to set the frame only for the week of National Sight Week.

Our goal is to not only increase the number of charitable cataract surgeries during National Sight Week but to raise overall awareness of the Operation Sight program. You can help us reach this goal!
